Buying house at initial stage profitable
The real estate sector is optimistic about overcoming current
stagnation and a renewal period is expected, especially in spring.
However, the effects of the mortgage crisis in the
global markets and the stagnation in the American Economy lead to
fluctuations. Some investors believe that Turkey will overcome these
effects without sustaining much injury.
New projects are coming
Both Real Estate Agents and construction sector
representatives say that it is wise to buy high quality property, as it
is less risky for the prices to become depreciated. The firms
constructing high quality Building Design new projects almost
every week, which proves that “there are no problems with sales of high
quality projects” despite the stagnation.
Those who buy at the initial sales profit much
Volkan Acar, director of public relations and advertising,
said: “We have developed many new construction projects in Istanbul's
Kağıthane, Taşdelen and Çekmeköy with the 'Şelale’ concept.
The first project was in Kağıthane where we observed that those who
bought properties at the initial stage of the sales were more
profitable. It was exemplified by the fact that there were three types
of increases at the estate prices; the increase towards the end of the
project, after its completion and when new owners' moved in.”
