Big Investments in Montenegro Announced by First Gulf Bank

The First Gulf Bank of the United Arab Emirates has set aside around EUR 1 billion for investments in Montenegro. That is what the bank's officials, lead by the chief executive officer Abdulhamid Saeed announced to their Montenegrin hosts yesterday.

The FGB delegation talked to Prime Minister Zeljko Sturanovic, tourism minister Predrag Nenezic, minister for economic development Branimir Gvozdenovic and chairman of Atlas Grupa Dusko Knezevic.

The visit followed after last month's presentation of investment opportunities in Montenegro, held by Knezevic and former prime minister Milo Dukanovic in Abu Dhabi. Their areas of interest are tourism and energy. An expert delegation of FGB is expected in the country soon. A strategic partnership with Atlasmont Bank has also been announced.
